Bob R. Brooks Jr. Justice Building

Built in 1909 for the State Bank of Little Rock, this was the tallest building in Arkansas once it was completed. In 1916, a real estate tycoon by the name of Boyle bought it and gave the building his name and it was known as the Boyle Building for more than a century following. After a quarter century of vacancy, it was recently renovated.

• More than 500 Quaker windows were part of the reset. H650 Single Hung Windows (430 qty.), and H450 Casement Windows and Fixed Picture Windows (81 qty.)
• To match the exterior facade, windows are painted white, using a powder-coat 2604 finish.
• Low-E glass within every window brings year-round energy efficiency.
• To assist with the install, Quaker supplied pre-set, historically-accurate panning which matched the original exterior architecture. Inside, interior trim was supplied.

The 12-story Brooks Justice Building is now fully-renovated as a mixed-use property. It’s primary tenant being the offices for the State Attorney General and staff. Other businesses located there include retail shops and restaurants.

The project was bestowed with Glass Magazine’s Top Renovation Project in the US in 2025.
